Wooyoung, a member of K-pop idol boy band 2PM, planned and modeled for Vogue Girl’s June edition.
Wooyoung designed the photo shoots for the fashion magazine to express his maturity rather than his typical image as Adonis. The photos in the magazine were shot with overcast weather, a car with shattered windows, and containers in the background.
The singer participated in all stages of the magazine project, suggesting concepts and giving modeling ideas to the staff.
“I realized that reflecting my ideas is what makes shooting for a magazine significant as I have about seven years of experience in this business,” Wooyoung said in an interview during the photo shoot. “The best part of this is bringing in new concepts.”
Wooyoung also expressed his sentiment about his changing values. “I realized yet again how valuable it is to enjoy today.”
“This magazine photo shoot is long-awaited for all my fans, so I think they will really enjoy it,” said Wooyoung, revealing his anticipation to see how his fans will react to the photos.
The photos and interview texts will be on the Korean version of Vogue Girl’s June edition and magazine agency’s official website (www.voguegirl.com).
