Watch 2PM Talk U.S. Tour, Creative Rivalries & How They 'Go Crazy'

Last month, 2PM brought their "Go Crazy!" world tour stateside for their first-ever solo trek in America. The kickoff date in New Jersey was a high-flying-yet-intimate affair and the K-pop boy band brought that same candor to Billboard when discussing their show, artistic rivalry within the group and more. Watch the video interview below:

"I think it's the seventh tour that we're doing and it's actually our first time being in the U.S.," member Taecyeon explains. "We actually have to think of some crazy ideas to fulfill that goal of the 'Go Crazy!' tour. I think they'll be shocked that we do all this crazy stuff on stage."

Along with on-stage acrobatics and a refreshing public sincerity, 2PM stands out for being heavily involved in their music -- a rarity on the K-pop scene. "How to express ourselves through music is important," Taecyeon adds. "That's why we're very into writing music, learning more about it and creating some new perspectives on how Korean idols 'should' be."

Echos Chansung, "Music is basically written from personal stories, so the outcome is like fulfilling one's passion and desire. The whole process feels very rewarding and it's a huge part of my life."
